Go to the artwork you want to buy and click the “Buy Now” button. If you want more information about the artwork before you make the purchase, you can ask the artist a question by clicking “Ask a Question”. The artist will then get back to you by email or phone shortly. If “Buy Now” is not available, you can send a purchase request instead.
When you buy works directly from us, you can choose to pay with Mastercard, Visa and American Express as well as Apple Pay / Google Pay. Once you have filled in your details, your order will be created and you will be sent to our partner Stripe, where payment will be made.
Once payment is complete, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address.

Delivery time varies depending on distance, shipping company and the artist's working hours. If the artist ships the work shortly after purchase, you can expect it to be delivered to you within 1-2 weeks.
It is the artists who decide whether they sell art abroad or not. Most of our artists offer international purchases. In this case, we recommend that you contact the artist and ask if this is possible before making the purchase.
You will either receive a tracking number from the artist when the work is shipped, or have direct contact with the artist who will inform you where the work is, how it will be delivered and when.
When you purchase an artwork through thearte.io, you are entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal, starting from the day the artwork is delivered to you. To initiate a return, you should contact the artist directly and agree together on how the artwork will be packaged and sent back. Since artworks are delicate and unique, secure packaging is essential. Once the artwork has been safely returned to the artist, thearte.io will issue your refund within 14 days. You may be responsible for the return shipping cost if the artwork has already been delivered to you; this is decided through mutual agreement between the buyer and the artist. Cancelling a purchase is otherwise free of charge. The artworks look best in real life in good lighting, the color reproduction may be different on a screen.
